How to integrate 1ClickPopup with Shopify

The Shopify integration helps sync all collected data with Shopify customers and generate unique discount codes for your popup.


Setup Shopify integration


No extra steps required. The Shopify integration is enabled by default when you install the app. We’ve preconfigured everything so you’re ready to go.

Fields mapping


You can set up which 1ClickPopup fields are synchronized with specific Shopify fields or metafields.


By default all customer related fields, like email, or phone number, are synched directly with Shopify customers.

All other fields are synched with Shopify metafields. If a metafield does not already exist, it will get created automatically.


Follow these steps to update your field mapping:


  1. Open your campaign for editing.
  2. Click Edit campaign.
  3. Select the Settings tab, then scroll down to the **Integrations **section.
  4. Click Edit within the Shopify Integrations section.
  5. Locate the Fields mapping section to make your changes.
  6. Click Save to apply the update.

Email fields


Single opt-in


When a single opt-in level is set up in your campaign (default opt-in level) all captured customers get synched with the Email subscribed status.


Double opt-in


When the Enable double email opt-in option is enabled, subscribers will receive a confirmation email. They need to click the confirmation link in this email to complete the process. Only after this confirmation subscribers will be synced with your Shopify Customers with the status Email subscribed.


To enable double opt-in, follow these steps:


  1. Open your campaign and click Edit campaign.
  2. Go to the Settings tab and find the Opt-in section.
  3. Select Double opt-in (Email only).


Phone numbers


If your popup captures phone numbers, they are always synched with the SMS subscribed marketing status.
